Since 1986, TRACOM Inc. has provided solutions to open channel flow problems for customers throughout the U.S. and around the world. In 2002, SPD Sales andTRACOM formed a partnership to market TRACOM's products in theSPD's local region.  The fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP) are engineered for a wide range of corrosive and abusive environments and are intended to save both the time and money of customers.  TRACOM offers seven type of flumes for open channel flow monitoring: Parshall, Palmer-Bowlus, H-Type, Trapezoidal, Cutthroat, RBC, and Montana. Each flume has its own advantages and disadvantages and it is recommended that before selecting a flume that the characteristics of each flume be considered.
